Covering the SF auto show for journalism.
Every photography book or class you take will warn you about the dangers of camera shake, and tell you not to shoot below 1/60th unassisted, but I’ve always thought that was way too conservative. This was taken on 1/15th of a second, on a non-IS lens, at a 42mm equivalent. Ha.

This one deserves a bigger view. Probably my best shot from the SF auto show I covered for journalism. I know nothing about cars, but damn some of these were sexy.

Columnists need mugshots to anchor their columns, and while they’re run tiny and w/o photo credits, they’re still fun to play with as exercises in portraits

Taken looking up a muni tunnel at the Forest Hill Station
So apparently wordpress now lets us resize the pictures in posts. That lets us put larger images in here, rather than just take what flickr says is the default medium size.

I really really love this. We were playing with the lights in photography club, and he were just reviewing what he’d taken. This is unposed.

Because I’m lazy, some more pictures from As You Like It. These aren’t quite the same tier as the others, but they’re still pretty good.
