Inscription
You can consider this just a teaser image, of which I’ll do a whole series. I’ve spent the last three weeks traveling in Vietnam and Cambodia: visiting the country, experiencing the cities, and seeing some traces of their ancient civilizations’ lost glories. This photo is of an inscription on the side of a column at the Banteay Srei temple of pink sandstone, near Angkor Wat. I tried this perspective a couple of times and I think it came out the best here, with the blurry outline of towers in the background and the early Sanskirt-derived Khmer script left by some monk’s hand more than a millenia ago.
This is just incredibly beautiful. Thank you.
